TEXT: “He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.” (Job 5:12)
Make this confession: I am ready for my miracle, I am ready for God, this is my day, my enemies shall not escape, the glory of my life shall be restored, my name shall be redeemed and restored, my due miracles shall be delivered and my joy shall be restored. Anything stolen from my life shall be restored. It is my season of redemption, it is my season of restoration, in Jesus name.
DECLARE THIS: No matter who has forgotten me, I know that God has not forgotten me, God shall remember me. His name is unlimited God and my limitation shall be terminated, in Jesus name.
“……And he spoke before his brethren and the army of Samaria and said, “What do this feeble Jews.” He called them feeble.
To be feeble is to be weak. He said in essence, what are these weak Jews doing?
The enemy feel we are weak; we cannot defend ourselves. They feel we do not have access to political power because they feel they are in power.
I said to someone recently, that, the greatest thing you can do for yourself is to train your mind to be strong. It is not about your physical size; it is about the strength of your mind. I call it growing your spiritual intelligence.
What do you feed your mind with? What do you see in your mind?
David saw Goliath like a bird. He was always a smart killer of birds with his sling and stone. And so, he told the king: it is not about the armour, I have never used armour of Javelin or sword, but I have killed lion with my sling, I have killed bear with my sling, this Goliath of Philistine shall be like one of those animals. He saw and regarded Goliath like one of the birds of the air.
King Saul, because of political experience, his wealth, his authority, saw David a covenant child, anointed by heaven, licensed by heaven, authorized by heaven, as a mere youth and weakling. Thank God David was not intimidated by the king’s resolve.
God shall step into your weakness and He shall make you strong, He shall step into your weakness and make it strong. You shall be a disappointment to your enemy, for the rest of your life, in Jesus name.
Our assumed weaknesses as viewed by the enemy, could be our poverty, deprivations, joblessness and setbacks. The enemy that rejoices at our present setback shall be humbled and disappointed. I see God rise up for our restoration, in Jesus name.
But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews. And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned? Fortify…: Heb. leave to themselves (Nehemiah 4:1-2)
He said again: “Will they fortify themselves?” This means, will they protect themselves; will they strategize, will they fortify themselves, can they secure themselves?
The Bible says in Proverbs 18:10 that, the name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and they are safe.
The Bible says in Isaiah 54:17, – No weapon fashioned against you shall stand, nor prosper. He said again in Isaiah that when the enemy shall come in, like a flood the spirit of the Lord shall raise a standard to resist them.
Samballat further said: shall they fortify themselves? Can they protect themselves from our invaders?
One way to overcome demonic oppression is to know the word of the covenant with God, believe in the word of the covenant and have faith in the word of the covenant.
- Any witch sent by witchcraft kingdom to attack my glorious destiny, shall not have access, my God shall frustrate and disappoint them, in Jesus name.
“…..will they sacrifice?” Which means, can they leave their bed for one night? Can they pray?
I pondered over the theme of our annual fast in the month of May which says: There is God! One programme in the fasting manual is the dry fasting. This I recall we have done repeatedly with incredible experiences and result.
I remembered Queen Esther who said, go and fast for three nights and three days. On the third day, I will go in to the king, “If I perish, I perish.” This was a sacrifice. Faith is an absolute risk. Real Christians do what the natural men cannot do.
And Esther went to the king contrary to the laws of Persia and the king sighted her from a distance and stretched forth the golden scepter- sign of endorsement and approval on the young Queen. When you move God, God will move men to meet your need.
She invited the king to her banquet and the king attended. After the banquet, the king said, what do you want? And Esther said, there is an attack on my people. And the king answered her: In this palace where I am the king? Who could that be? And she pointed to Haman. God killed Haman and substituted his position with Mordecai the Jew. This is what God shall do against your enemies.
- Spiritual sacrifices are superior to physical killing. Believe God to respond to you.
